Since the winter semster 2019 the foundations enables 40 female students, via monthly financial help, to start or continue their studies in one of the Teheran universities.

Since the winter semster 2019 the Nasrin Mirmohammadi foundation helps 40 female students via monthly financial help, to start or continue their studies in one of the Teheran universities.

The selection process took place in September 2019.

Based on the criteria of the foundation Dr. Mirmohammadi selected 40 young women from 100 applications, that were suited best to carry forward the ideals of the founder.

The criteria included

• degree of proverty,

• social competency and

• willingness to learn.

The financial aid will be provided until the end of the studies and does not need to be paid back. After the successful termination of their studies, we do encourage our stipendiates to become active members of the foundation, in line with thier personal capabilities.

The students have the option to contact the foundation, for exmaple if additional help for learning materials is needed or other obstacles arise that endanger their studies. The foundation council who look after the stipendiates during the entire time of their studies will then consider a regular or one-off rise of the financial aid.
